EOS Technologie, headquartered in Bordeaux, has begun delivering its Rodeur 330 unmanned aerial vehicles to Ukraine as part of international support for the country’s ongoing war effort.
The delivery represents the first batch of the interceptor drones sent to Kyiv and is intended to help restore Ukraine’s depleted UAV stocks. The move also supports growing industrial cooperation between France and Ukraine, with an emphasis on countering Russia’s mass drone production—estimated at around 1,000 units per day—through the use of affordable counter-drone and strike systems.
According to EOS Technologie, the Rodeur 330 will function as a protective asset for Ukrainian forces, capable of conducting intelligence missions or executing one-way attack roles. The shipment follows confirmation in December 2025 that the French firm would provide Ukraine with long-range loitering munitions, including both the standard Rodeur 330 and a rocket-powered variant, for military trials.
The platform has already been tested in FPV-guided strikes against armored targets and has demonstrated autonomous engagement capabilities in simulated threat scenarios. The 25-kilogram drone features a 3-meter wingspan, a 4-kilogram payload capacity, and can be assembled within three minutes, with minimal operator training.
Catapult-launched and controlled using a handheld gamepad, the Rodeur 330 offers up to five hours of endurance, a 500-kilometer operational range, a 5,000-meter flight ceiling, and a top speed of 120 kilometers per hour. Each system is delivered with a flight case, rugged laptop, radio control unit, and antenna package.
