Blackhawk has won a major contract to supply the Bundeswehr with its modular Holster Carry System, designed to provide soldiers with versatile and reliable holster configurations.
The system allows mounting on the belt, chest, or thigh and incorporates quick-detach adapters for compatibility with Blackhawk and G-Code RTI gear. Built in the US, it emphasizes operational flexibility and rugged durability.
Helmut Hofmann, the German collaborator on the project, highlighted the partnership as an effective fusion of American design expertise with German precision and logistical capabilities.
The contract was facilitated by Blackhawk’s European agency, Outdoor Marketing International, leveraging local market knowledge and strategic connections.
Germany has been actively modernizing soldier carry systems, including Rheinmetall’s April 2024 award for 191,000 tactical intercom systems, the August 2024 public tender for leather holsters for the HK SFP9‑TR, and Mehler Protection’s March 2025 contract for modular protective vests for Special Operations Forces.
