At a defense convention in France, KNDS presented a revised Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 main battle tank concept, emphasizing a remote-controlled turret and a three-person crew arrangement designed to meet future battlefield requirements.

The self-financed prototype introduces a new turret architecture that elevates the main gun above the hull and removes the need for crew members inside the turret. This approach increases usable interior space, reduces armor-protected volume, and lowers overall vehicle mass, contributing to improved maneuverability and easier integration of new weapons and ammunition types. A collapsible structure has also been incorporated to support more efficient rail transportation.

The Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 retains adaptability for future upgrades, supporting 120mm, 130mm, and 140mm cannon options. Responding to evolving threats, KNDS has equipped the concept with enhanced counter-drone systems and advanced secondary weapons. Its digital backbone enables seamless connectivity with network-centric combat environments and allied battlefield systems.

Dimensionally, the vehicle is 8 meters long, 4 meters wide, and 2 meters tall, while remaining under the 60-ton weight threshold. A 1,500-hp powerplant delivers a top speed of 65 km/h and an operational reach of 460 kilometers.
