HII Wins $267M Contract to Enhance US Navy Training Programs
HII’s Mission Technologies division has secured a multiple-award contract worth up to $267 million to deliver training products and services for the US Navy.
The agreement enables HII to compete for task orders from the Naval Education and Training Professional Development Center and other commands, with responsibilities including curriculum design, Navy e-learning management, and other tools aimed at advancing sailor training, career development, and overall force readiness.
Expanding Training Portfolio
HII is a key provider of training solutions across US military branches. In June, it received a $379-million US Army contract for live training at ranges and combat centers. Earlier this year, it won a $182-million US Air Force task order to sustain F-16 training devices, including engineering for Mission Tactics Trainer systems.
In 2023, the Air Force also selected HII to help build a blended training environment combining live and virtual exercises under the Joint Training Synthetic Environment program, supporting both US and allied forces.
