Under a newly awarded $180-million deal, CAE Defense & Security will provide extensive aviation training services for US Army helicopter operations. The program includes pilot and crew instruction for nearly 900 participants using Black Hawk, Apache, and Chinook helicopters. CAE will significantly expand UH-60 instructor numbers and deliver enhanced support in partnership with key Army training institutions. The contract, initially set for one year, holds potential for a five-year extension, continuing until 2030 if all options are exercised.
