Tiberius Aerospace has been contracted by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to develop a liquid-fuelled, ramjet-powered 155mm precision artillery round with a range of up to 150 kilometers (93 miles). The company reports the munition achieves a circular error probability (CEP) of less than 5 meters (16 feet).

This marks a significant leap over existing systems: the US M982 Excalibur currently reaches 40 kilometers (25 miles), while the US Army is pursuing new projectiles that extend to at least 70 kilometers (43 miles). Standard artillery rounds typically deliver a CEP of around 100 meters (328 feet).

The ramjet round can reach speeds of Mach 3.5 and altitudes exceeding 65,000 feet (19,812 meters), placing it outside the effective range of most jamming systems. Its guidance relies on GPS integrated with an inertial measurement unit (IMU) for resilience in degraded or GPS-denied conditions, while AI-driven error correction maintains targeting precision. Additionally, multiple rounds can coordinate in flight to refine impact accuracy.
