AM General has been awarded a $126.5 million contract to supply additional M1165A1B3 Humvees to the U.S. Army, expanding the total value of the existing agreement to $3 billion.

While the Pentagon has not disclosed the number of vehicles in this latest batch, the new units will add to the Army’s fleet of approximately 120,000 Humvees.

Production will take place in South Bend, Indiana, with completion scheduled for August 2027. The company will collaborate with the Army Contracting Command at Detroit Arsenal to execute the delivery.

This procurement comes shortly after AM General finalized a $150 million Humvee deal with Israel. Deliveries to Tel Aviv are expected to begin later this year, aimed at reinforcing ground forces amid ongoing tensions with Hamas and preparing for evolving regional threats.
