Mobix Labs has announced it is now shipping advanced Filtered Mil-Spec Circular Connectors to support upcoming military drone programs.
Housed in rugged circular casings, the connectors feature Pi-filter technology to mitigate electromagnetic interference, enhancing GPS navigation, secure communications, and mission-critical drone operations.
The same connectors are deployed on tactical aircraft, where reliability and precision are essential. This development aligns with wider US defense initiatives to strengthen unmanned platforms against electronic warfare threats.
Complementary programs include the Army’s trials of Overland AI’s autonomous resupply vehicle, which operates independently of GPS, and Leidos’ magnetic navigation system, designed to keep drones on course even in GPS-denied environments.
