Cyprus-based Theon International has secured a defense contract valued at over 100 million euros ($115 million) from a NATO European partner for the supply of thousands of night vision devices, including goggles, monoculars, and binoculars.

The agreement is part of a 300-million-euro ($344-million) multi-year framework contract unveiled on October 17, which also includes Theon’s IRIS-C thermal clip-on systems.

The first deliveries are planned to take place progressively between 2026 and 2028, with further procurements anticipated in the short to medium term under the same framework.

This follows an earlier 50-million-euro ($58.7-million) deal for IRIS-C systems with Germany and Belgium, highlighting growing NATO demand for Theon’s optical technology.

Following this latest award, Theon’s total orders for the current fiscal year have surpassed 370 million euros ($425 million). The company is also negotiating new options worth 441 million euros ($506.6 million).

As of November 4, Theon reported a backlog of approximately 700 million euros ($804 million)—excluding invoiced orders from October—alongside additional options totaling about 720 million euros ($827 million).
