Moog has secured a year-two spares contract with Leonardo DRS in support of the U.S. Army’s SGT Stout systems, reinforcing its ongoing role in sustaining vital defense capabilities. The agreement will cover spare parts deliveries through June 2026 for the Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform (RIwP®), which forms the core of the Army’s mobile air defense system.
“As the original equipment manufacturer for RIwP, Moog is proud to deliver the critical components needed to maintain the high operational readiness of deployed systems,” the company emphasized.
SGT Stout—formally known as the Maneuver-Short Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD) program—is engineered to safeguard ground forces from a broad range of aerial threats, including unmanned aerial vehicles and low-flying aircraft.
