Italian aerospace and defense company Leonardo announced plans to acquire Iveco Defence Vehicles, a manufacturer of military and civilian armored platforms, for €1.7 billion ($1.95 billion).
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approval. Earlier the same day, Leonardo reported a 11.7% increase in first-half revenues, reaching €8.9 billion ($10.1 billion), and reaffirmed its full-year revenue outlook of around €18.6 billion ($21.2 billion).
