L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has secured a contract worth over $2.26 billion to deliver customized Bombardier Global 6500 AEW&C aircraft to the Republic of Korea Air Force. The program brings together L3Harris, Bombardier, Israel Aerospace Industries’ ELTA Systems, and Korean Air to strengthen Korea’s air defense capabilities.
Designed for superior mission performance, the aircraft will fly faster, stay airborne longer, and operate at higher altitudes to enhance safety and surveillance range. Their advanced radar and communications suite will provide seamless interoperability with U.S., NATO, and allied forces—creating an integrated, networked battlespace ready for next-generation operations.
