BAE Systems has awarded Raytheon UK a contract to equip the CV90 infantry fighting vehicle with a GPS anti-jamming solution, enhancing the platform’s resilience against electronic warfare threats.
The system, known as Landshield Plus, combines an antenna and anti-jam processor in a compact unit, providing real-time detection of interfering signals and their origin.

First unveiled in May 2019, Landshield Plus incorporates advanced spoofing detection to identify counterfeit GPS signals designed to mislead navigation systems. When deployed across multiple vehicles, the sensors can be networked to triangulate the source of interference, enabling both protection and valuable tactical intelligence.

Operating on the L1 and L2 GPS frequency bands, Landshield Plus can simultaneously counter up to six jammers. Deliveries for integration with the CV90 fleet are planned for 2025–2029.
