BAE Systems has secured a Danish order for 44 more CV9035 MkIIIC infantry fighting vehicles, adding to the 115 CV90s contracted in 2024.
The acquisition increases Denmark’s future fleet to 159 vehicles by the end of 2030 and replaces plans to modernize the existing 44 CV9035DK platforms.
Valued at roughly $450 million, the agreement includes logistics, training, spare components, and long-term support.
The newly purchased CV9035 MkIIIC models match the configuration used in the Netherlands’ latest CV90 upgrade, incorporating the advanced CV90 turret and flexible weapon integration.
First introduced into Danish service in 2007, the CV90 is also fielded by Estonia, Finland, and Sweden, which joined a multi-country initiative in June 2025 to acquire the platform collectively.
Additionally, Denmark and Sweden have donated CV90s to bolster Ukraine’s forces amid the ongoing conflict with Russia.
