BAE Systems subsidiary Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BISim) has secured an enterprise licensing contract to supply its Digital Virtual Trainer (DVT) to the Canadian Army.

The DVT is a wargaming solution that provides immersive mission preparation, allowing soldiers to plan, rehearse, execute, and review operations within realistic virtual environments.

It supports both individual first-person training and large-scale collective exercises, offering flexibility for units to train globally.

Powered by BISim’s Virtual Battlespace 4 software and Blue IG image generator, the system delivers advanced visuals and integrates smoothly with existing simulation platforms.

The package also includes TerraTools Platinum, an advanced terrain-generation tool for quickly creating and editing practice maps based on real-world GIS data.

The agreement covers five years, with an option for a three-year extension to provide sustainment support.
