Electro Optic Systems (EOS), an Australian defense firm, has landed an €71.4 million ($83 million) deal to deliver a high-power laser counter-drone system to a confidential NATO-aligned European nation.
The 100-kilowatt-class weapon will be delivered in phases from 2025 to 2028, and the package covers training, spare components, and technical manuals.
Shipments will originate from EOS’s Singapore-based laser innovation hub.
