Archer Aviation Inc. and Korean Air have entered into an agreement to commercialize the Midnight eVTOL aircraft across South Korea, initially for government missions. The partnership envisions Korean Air purchasing up to 100 Midnight units, integrating Archer’s electric air taxi technology into Korea’s transportation ecosystem.

This alliance leverages Archer’s advanced eVTOL expertise and Korean Air’s operational legacy to make South Korea a front-runner in next-generation sustainable aviation. The partnership seeks to accelerate the rollout of innovative aircraft solutions while laying the groundwork for widespread eVTOL adoption across multiple markets.

Archer’s Midnight aircraft is designed for four passengers plus a pilot, capable of conducting rapid, back-to-back flights with short recharge cycles. It offers a quiet, sustainable, and cost-effective alternative to traditional ground transport—reducing long commutes to 10–20-minute electric flights. The aircraft recently achieved record flight tests and made a public debut before 50,000 spectators at the California International Airshow.
