The US Army has awarded Lockheed Martin its biggest PAC-3 MSE deal yet, worth $9.8 billion for 1,970 interceptors and related hardware. Production will scale sharply in 2025, with annual output surpassing 600 units. Lockheed had already invested in expanded facilities, including a major site in Arkansas, to prepare for this surge. Following earlier contracts of $2.4 billion and $5.2 billion, the order highlights continued reliance on the PAC-3 for missile defense.
