France is integrating artificial intelligence more deeply into its defense industrial framework, particularly in the development and management of naval combat capabilities.
As part of this effort, Naval Group has taken a 20 percent shareholding in cortAIx France, Thales’ dedicated AI accelerator for defense systems.
The acquisition secures Naval Group a role in cortAIx’s oversight and cements a structured partnership to co-develop AI solutions for defense use.
