Indra Group of Spain and Italy’s Leonardo have signed an MoU to strengthen cooperation in cyber defense and expand their presence across European, NATO, and international markets.
The deal, inked in Rome by Indra CEO José Vicente de los Mozos and Leonardo CEO Roberto Cingolani, is designed to boost digital protection for critical infrastructure while driving innovation in cybersecurity technologies.
The partners intend to collaborate on delivering cutting-edge cyber capabilities, specialized training, and managed cyber services to both public and private sector clients, coordinating closely to address evolving digital threats.
According to Indra Executive Chairman Ángel Escribano, the agreement will reinforce European industrial collaboration and support joint bidding initiatives. Both companies currently employ over 60,000 staff worldwide, with strong workforce bases in Spain and Italy respectively.
