L3Harris Technologies has reached a new benchmark with the delivery of its three-millionth M734A1 mortar fuze to the US Army.
The fuze, compatible with 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm high-explosive mortar rounds, meets NATO specifications and offers multiple burst-height settings to adapt to varied combat requirements. It also incorporates enhanced safety features to protect allied troops and minimize unintended damage.
Earlier this year, the company reported shipping approximately 500,000 fuzes in fiscal 2025, reflecting an almost 80 percent year-on-year increase. In parallel, its Missile Solutions arm is set for substantial investment to expand US solid rocket motor production capabilities.
