A team from Russia’s Southern Federal University has unveiled a virtual reality simulator that trains users in anti-drone combat and detection systems.
Built on Epic Games’ Unreal Engine, the platform recreates battlefield scenarios where trainees engage with precisely modeled virtual versions of real-world anti-drone weapons.
The simulation includes GPS jamming, radio signal interference, and the operation of field equipment, offering a highly realistic and immersive environment to build core skills—without the risks of live deployment.
