Under a $315 million contract, U.S. firm Booz Allen Hamilton has joined forces with L3Harris to deliver the second mobile command center prototype for the U.S. Air Force.
The project, potentially running for up to five years, involves the Tactical Operations Center-Light (TOC-L), a core component of the Distributed Battle Management Node tied to the Air Force’s Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS).
The prototype also plays a crucial role in advancing the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) strategy, which seeks to integrate all military branches and domains into a seamless, agile command and control (C2) infrastructure.
