NAL Research, based in Virginia, has teamed up with Norway’s Tschudi Shipping and SGM Technology to introduce a new maritime system that ensures reliable navigation even when GPS signals are jammed or spoofed.

Their jointly developed solution, PntGuard, is a plug-and-play device that instantly notifies the crew if a vessel’s reported location is being manipulated.

The setup includes a receiver connected to a Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) service and a bridge interface displaying both the spoofed GPS signal and the ship’s authentic, real-time position for rapid situational awareness.
