The US Air Force is advancing the $99-million ATA-AI project, initiated in July 2024, to stay ahead of rapidly evolving battlefield threats.

The program focuses on creating next-generation target tracking frameworks powered by AI, machine learning, and advanced computing capabilities.

Designed for speed and precision, the technology will process massive, multi-source data flows — including 3D pixels, vectors, and point clouds — in real time.
