The U.S. Navy and ROK Navy concluded this year’s Korean Spring Exercise, a recurring joint drill aimed at improving mine countermeasures. Conducted off the southeastern coast of South Korea, the 10-day event involved coordinated operations to clear a simulated minefield using advanced mine detection and neutralization methods. Highlights included an underwater detonation and close collaboration between ROKN Mine Squadron 52 and MCMRON 7, reinforcing bilateral teamwork and operational proficiency.
