Developed in just 10 months, the system compresses the acoustic performance of Thales’ flagship Sonar 2076 into a modular, rapidly deployable format. AI-enhanced processing accelerates target detection and classification in cluttered environments, while digital-native architecture ensures interoperability across UK and NATO networks. Sonar 76Nano supports distributed sensing concepts and aligns with the Royal Navy’s Atlantic Bastion vision for layered undersea defense.
