The Royal Thai Army has introduced a high-energy laser weapon aimed at tackling the growing threat from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Classified as a directed energy weapon (DEW), the system delivers a concentrated energy beam with pinpoint accuracy, capable of disabling low-altitude or high-speed drones—even during nighttime operations.
This technology enables the army to intercept UAVs mid-flight, helping to prevent potential aerial attacks on Thailand.
