Hanwha Systems of South Korea has introduced a next-generation active protection system aimed at significantly enhancing armored vehicle defense by intercepting hostile projectiles before impact.
Presented at the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, the APS is built to defeat multiple categories of threats, ranging from rocket-propelled grenades and anti-tank guided missiles to high-explosive anti-tank warheads and kinetic energy penetrators.
