US defense contractor Raytheon has signed a landmark agreement with the UAE’s Tawazun Council to domestically produce components of the Coyote counter-drone system. Under the deal, Raytheon Emirates will support technology transfer and partner with Emirati firms to carry out manufacturing and testing at Tawazun Industrial Park. The move aims to enhance the UAE’s rapid response capability to drone threats and deepen its strategic defense cooperation with the US.
