Lockheed Martin is expanding its cooperation with the Philippines through its F-16 Block 70 proposal for the nation’s Multi-Role Fighter program.
Partnering with Southern Methodist University — including its Center for Digital and Human-Augmented Manufacturing and Deason Innovation Gym — the company will help advance the Philippines’ expertise in digital modeling, simulation, VR/AR applications, robotics, automation, and AI.
The collaboration will also fund business startups, government initiatives, and academic research, while establishing a dedicated research laboratory and training hub to foster technological innovation and intellectual property development.
