Finnish defense company Patria has unveiled TRACKX, a tracked all-terrain vehicle marketed as its “ultimate” solution for extreme battlefield mobility.
Built to perform in snow, forests, roads, and water, the platform can transport up to 12 personnel, including the driver and commander, while providing NATO-standard protection against mines and ballistic threats.
With a maximum combat weight of 15.5 tons (14,061 kilograms), TRACKX can reach speeds of 80 kilometers (50 miles) per hour on land and 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) per hour in water, thanks to its amphibious capability.
