General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) and Parry Labs have formed a strategic alliance aimed at accelerating digital integration across the US Army’s combat systems.

Together, the two companies will develop a complete software delivery framework that blends Parry Labs’ AI-powered infrastructure and edge-computing expertise with GDLS’s long-standing experience in designing and manufacturing armored vehicles.

The partnership seeks to cut integration timelines, lower program costs, and enhance the Army’s ability to field advanced capabilities more rapidly.

The companies stated that their efforts are aligned with the Army’s modernization roadmap and will be showcased at the upcoming AUSA 2025 exhibition in Washington, DC.

Accelerating Defense Digitalization
This collaboration is part of a broader digital evolution underway within the US defense ecosystem.

The Army’s Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle and Next Generation Combat Vehicle initiatives already employ open-architecture frameworks to enable faster system upgrades and improved interoperability.

The Air Force’s Advanced Battle Management System and the Navy’s Project Overmatch are following similar trajectories—creating interconnected digital networks that link land, air, and sea assets into a cohesive, data-driven force.

These efforts collectively mark a shift toward real-time coordination, streamlined decision-making, and greater resilience across all domains of modern warfare.
