Nordic Air Defence has expanded into Poland, partnering with WB Group and Tantalit to strengthen counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) capabilities. The company is establishing a local presence in Poland and has formalized cooperation through a letter of intent.
The collaboration focuses on integrating, producing, and marketing NAD’s high-speed K100XR drone interceptor within WB Group’s C-UAS ecosystem and Tantalit’s AI-enabled command-and-control framework. The partners are also exploring opportunities for local production or assembly of the interceptor system.
Under the arrangement, NAD will act as the design authority and lead developer, while WB Group and Tantalit will contribute AI software, system integration, and battlefield networking capabilities. Joint technical workshops and feasibility studies are planned in the coming months to support Poland’s counter-drone initiatives and potential export prospects.
Founded in 2024, Nordic Air Defence aims to address evolving drone threats highlighted by the Russia-Ukraine War. WB Group, one of Europe’s leading private defense firms, specializes in unmanned systems and battle management solutions, while Tantalit focuses on military IT systems and joined WB Group in 2025.
The K100XR (Kreuger-100 Extended Range) interceptor is a lightweight, carbon-fiber drone designed for swarm deployment. It features a single-propeller engine, foldable wings, and is optimized for cost-effective operations. The system can exceed speeds of 220 mph (354 km/h) and has an effective range of about 3.2 kilometers at altitudes near 1,006 meters.
