Kazakhstan Establishes AI Unit to Drive Military Digital Transformation
Kazakhstan has launched a specialized artificial intelligence unit within its Ministry of Defense, marking a significant step toward AI-driven defense modernization.
The new division will spearhead the digital transformation of the armed forces, creating and deploying AI solutions to enhance mission effectiveness.
This development follows President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s directive to accelerate military digitization with AI, a strategy confirmed by Deputy Defense Minister Darkhan Akhmediev.
