Researchers at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) are developing a layered defense system to counter growing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) threats.
Called the Shepherd Grid Strategy, the concept mirrors the tactics of a wolf pack, with UAV defenders coordinating to pursue targets, track them within range, organize into strike formations, and close in for neutralization.
