In a breakthrough development, two firms from Hyderabad have joined forces to produce India’s first “dual stealth drone,” which merges autonomous flying capabilities with a novel stealth material that conceals it from radar and infrared sensors.

The material, dubbed RAMA (Radar Absorption & Multispectral Adaptive), was developed by Veera Dynamics and is based on advanced nanotechnology. It can be applied as a surface coating or wrap on defense platforms.

This innovative coating combines two carbon compounds that absorb radar energy and convert it into heat, which is then dispersed at a rate of 1.5°C (2.7°F) per second, minimizing the drone’s detectability.
