In a move to reinforce its defense manufacturing footprint, Honeywell Aerospace has committed $500 million to expand its support for the US Department of Defense. The investment, aligned with a Pentagon framework agreement, will be directed toward upgrading production capabilities to accelerate delivery of key airborne technologies. This includes advancements in navigation systems for enhanced multi-domain awareness and the firm’s Assure actuator technology that enables precise missile maneuvering. The funding will further boost manufacturing of electronic warfare systems for US fighter jets, along with components supporting the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program and Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles.
