General Cherry has introduced AIR SPEED, a high-velocity interceptor designed to enhance Ukraine’s counter-drone capabilities through speed, agility, and precision targeting.
Capable of reaching speeds of up to 236 km/h, the interceptor can effectively chase down small, fast-moving aerial threats. Its compact 8-inch frame supports high maneuverability and rapid response during dynamic engagements.
AIR SPEED is built to address a wide range of aerial threats, from one-way attack drones and commercial UAVs to tactical reconnaissance platforms.
The system is also optimized to counter fixed-wing surveillance drones, including ZALA, Supercam, Eagles, and Lancet-class loitering munitions.
Deployed on several active frontlines, the interceptor has reportedly delivered strong performance against hostile reconnaissance and strike UAVs.
AIR SPEED expands General Cherry’s interceptor lineup alongside systems such as BULLET, tailored for Shahed-type threats, and AIR Pro, which features a larger 10-inch configuration.
According to the company, the interceptor is now accessible via Brave1, Ukraine’s national platform for defense technology acquisition.
