Hanwha Aerospace has rolled out the K-NIFV (Korea New Infantry Fighting Vehicle), a next-generation tracked vehicle developed to defend against drones and operate within highly contested electromagnetic domains.

Debuting at Seoul ADEX 2025, the K-NIFV builds on the Redback design but incorporates an unmanned turret in place of a manned one, enhancing survivability and expanding troop capacity to eight soldiers.

The turret is modular, mounting a 30mm autocannon with an option for a 40mm cased-telescoped system, a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun, and two canisters carrying a domestic anti-tank guided missile.
