Hanwha Ocean has introduced a concept for a future strategic surface ship, positioning it as the centerpiece of South Korea’s naval modernization efforts.

The vessel’s wave-piercing hull form enables smoother transit through turbulent waters, while its tumblehome design reduces radar visibility, offering a low-observable profile suited for stealth missions.

Engineered for multi-domain defense, the platform integrates layered weapon systems within its hull, capable of engaging diverse threats, including ballistic missiles, aerial targets, and loitering munitions, highlighting its role as a next-generation naval powerhouse.
