Embraer has revealed a new livery for its KC-390 Millennium, aiming to enhance the aircraft’s appeal in international defense markets.
The new look will serve as the standard for demonstrations at air shows, global marketing campaigns, and promotional events, while also allowing tailored designs for customer deliveries.
According to Embraer, the demonstrator aircraft in its updated scheme will be showcased at international aerospace events by late 2025. The company emphasized that the redesign aligns with its broader push to expand KC-390 sales and visibility worldwide.
The KC-390 Millennium is a 35-meter (115-foot) tactical transport capable of carrying 26,000 kilograms (57,320 pounds) of cargo or up to 80 troops. It features a fuel capacity of 35,000 kilograms (77,162 pounds) and is powered by twin IAE V2500-E5 turbofans. The aircraft can reach speeds above 500 knots (926 kilometers/575 miles per hour), fly up to 4,570 nautical miles (8,464 kilometers/5,259 miles), and operate at 11,000 meters (36,089 feet).
The platform supports multiple missions, including personnel transport, equipment delivery, medevac, firefighting, search and rescue, and humanitarian relief. Optional systems such as electronic warfare suites and missile countermeasures enable the KC-390 to operate effectively in contested airspace.
