UK marine engineering company ScaffFloat has unveiled the MilFloat, a modular floating platform designed for rapid deployment and versatile military roles.
Measuring 16 by 6.4 meters (52 by 21 feet), the self-propelled system can be transported in standard shipping containers or on flatbed trailers. It is capable of carrying loads of up to 30 tonnes (66,138 pounds) and is engineered to remain buoyant even when exposed to direct fire.
Images released by the firm show the MilFloat transporting a CVT FV103 Spartan armored personnel carrier, underscoring its heavy-lift and battlefield logistics potential.
