ASFAT Reveals TF-2000 Indigenous Air and Missile Defense Destroyer
Turkish defense firm ASFAT has unveiled the TF-2000, the nation’s first indigenously designed air and missile defense destroyer.
Part of the MILGEM program, the 149-meter (489-foot) vessel is engineered for layered protection against guided and ballistic missiles across all ranges.
The design, showcased at IDEF 2025 in Istanbul, incorporates a strengthened mast structure equipped with ASELSAN’s CAFRAD dual-band AESA radar suite.
