AeroVironment (AV) has launched its new Vapor Compact Long Endurance (CLE) drone, enhancing its lineup of VTOL unmanned systems designed for multi-mission versatility.
The Vapor CLE, an electric Group 2 UAS, features a modular, open-architecture design that accommodates more than 26 payload types—from imaging and EW packages to communications and data-link systems.
Capable of carrying small munitions such as grenades and mortar rounds, the aircraft enables both reconnaissance and light strike operations, offering military users a highly adaptable, mission-ready platform.
