Completing months of work, Tata Advanced Systems unveiled the AAP-Tr — the company’s vision for India’s future infantry combat vehicle.
The platform features a V-hull chassis to reduce the impact of mines and IEDs, with an outer frame rated to absorb blasts up to about 15 kg of TNT. Internally, stacked ceramic-composite armor shields personnel from armor-piercing rounds and rocket hits while preserving the vehicle’s operational agility.
