Arquus has announced a contract to deliver Sherpa station wagon vehicles outfitted with Akeron missile launchers to the Cypriot National Guard. The agreement, disclosed in Athens, includes 12 French-manufactured vehicles, each integrated with MBDA’s advanced missile systems. This follows a successful trial held in Cyprus in September 2022, during which the Akeron-equipped Sherpa demonstrated its firepower at ranges between 2,500 and 3,000 meters in both independent and networked operations.
