As part of a 2023 modernization agreement, the Estonian Defense Forces have received new 4×4 and 6×6 military trucks from Volvo. These vehicles, featuring Volvo’s 44R and 66R systems, are among three procurement batches aimed at upgrading Estonia’s tactical and logistics ground vehicle fleet. The newly delivered trucks range in length from 5 to 6 meters (16 to 20 feet) and offer payload capacities between 13,600 and 20,800 kilograms (29,982 to 45,856 pounds).
