US-based Eureka Naval Craft has partnered with Singapore’s Strategic Marine to develop a new class of modular warships in Asia, targeting future requirements of the US Navy and allied forces.
Leading the initiative is the Aircat Bengal MC, a 36-meter (118-foot) surface effect vessel engineered to perform missions typically carried out by larger corvettes and frigates.
The versatile platform is designed for a wide range of operations, including troop transport, amphibious landings, drone deployment, electronic warfare, and mine countermeasure missions.
