The US State Department has approved a potential arms sale to NATO ally Turkey, involving two missile types produced by RTX. The $225-million package includes 53 AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM), six AMRAAM guidance sections, and associated support. Additionally, Ankara seeks 60 AIM-9X Sidewinder Block II All-Up-Round missiles and 11 tactical guidance units, valued at $79.1 million.
